Computer Vision Engineer

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement computer vision algorithms to meet project requirements.
- Support engineers in all stages of the algorithm lifecycle, including building, training, tuning, analyzing, and testing CV models.
- Adapt algorithms for embedding in vision-based products.
- Participate in the analysis and testing of system performance.
- Prepare procedures and reports related to algorithm development and performance testing.
- Collaborate closely with other engineering teams to support system maturation.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience developing, architecting, and running ML or deep learning applications.
- Strong understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
- Experience with handling and processing image data, including labeling data in experimental and synthetic environments.
- Proficiency in ML and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow/Keras.
- Excellent collaboration and documentation/reporting skills.
- Ability to interpret raw sensor data and understand its electro-optical properties.
- Familiarity with basic design of optical systems, ideally including higher-order optics.
- Experience running experimental setups for data collection and algorithm training.
- Exposure to feedback control applications using optical sensors.
- Experience in space applications (desirable).
